During my recent stay at Palia's, I found the culinary experience particularly noteworthy. I dined at the hotel's restaurant, where I opted for dinner. The ambiance was inviting, perfectly marrying the rustic charm of its surroundings with a comfortable setting. It was clear that the dishes served came from a place of love, particularly with Roberto's mother at the helm of the kitchen. I began my meal with her house-made antipasti; the variety was impressive, showcasing local produce and traditional flavors. The attention to detail was evident, and each bite was a testament to their commitment to quality. For the main course, I indulged in the gnocchi, which had a delightful texture and flavor, crafted with care. Unfortunately, I could not find room for the secondi option, as the starters and pasta were quite filling. Breakfast the next morning was equally remarkable, featuring an array of homemade cakes and local cheeses, along with a choice of eggs cooked to order. It was a satisfying culinary journey that complemented my peaceful stay at the hotel, and I left with a renewed appreciation for Italian hospitality and flavor.
